MOTHER'S VISIT...HER PROPHETIC PRAYER MINISTRY
Mother seems to have special grace.
Though she paid for tourist class she flew
first class both ways across the Atlantic.
Perhaps it is the consistent daily fellowship
with her heavenly Father that brings about
such favor.

Her prayer life was extended in Crimea,
even prophetically as we prayed for village
missionaries and remarks were heard like,
"Wow! I prayed about that issue just this
morning!" Mother Ruth hears the words in
her heart and prays them.
years. Tamara has been my
sort of surrogate mother over
here. Mother thanked her for
taking care of me for 9 years.
They are both 85 years old.
Mother in a pediatrician sandwich!
Seriously I love this photo. Dr. Tatiana and
favorite ladies on this side of the pond.
Mother and I had great fellowship and a
wonderful meal at their apartment.
Mother Ruth and kids go together
like peanut butter and jelly. These
children at River of Joy summer
camp wanted to take her home,
or visa versa. Mother visited
camp three times with me.
We have wanted to have mother over for years and years. It was finally time and we were so happy to have her
children in health. Send checks made out to
AMT Crimea to Ruth M. Hallowell 564 Eston Place, Lancaster
California 93535 . Please see her own testimony about the trip at the bottom of the
Testimonies page.

MEZHGORIE & PASECHNOE
The first baby steps are being taken.
This week we began to collect resource information on Mezhgorie and
with Tolik Navitsky's assistance and inspiration we painted the new road
sign for Pasechnoe. This week we talked with Dr. Sas Conradie in a
village near London and began formation of INVEST [International Village
Enhancement Team] which will connect villages in different countries for
the enhancement and cultural enrichment of both.
WHY IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?
lightening at the bus stop in
Mezhgorie this June. Among them
was the drunk who made it a habit
to castigate the small gathering of
believers in the village even as he
works on the Orthodox temple. His
mouth has been silent on that
subject since and the work he had
been doing has stopped.

Tolik has re-opened the village store. It is a Christian store where no cigarettes or alcohol are sold and prayer
meetings take place every morning. A grader is going to be putting the village roads in order. These are small
first steps but the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
We believe God has a purpose and a calling (and judgment ahead) for places just as he does for people.
See
Matthew 11:20-23 We have a vision for helping villages realize and fulfil their calling.

CONTAINERS STUCK IN CUSTOMS FOR 3 MONTHS
1Thess. 5:18  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. How hard
our thankfulness. Each container costs $250 a month to warehouse and more money is needed for running
out to customs and helping them with inspections, paperwork. Of course the reasons for the delay are in
God's hands and His will be done...including our thanksgiving. They are two containers from Northern
Ireland and one from America. We are happily distributing them to the needy orphan institutions, poor
families and destroyed villages of Crimea.
A new container is on the way. All of this container activity and
warehousing has us scratching for funds. We have gone 7 thousand dollars in debt in a matter of two
months.
Please help us through this financial crisis.

cannot otherwise go. We have been ministering in Ukraine Government
whammy of Bible stories and Children's praise songs.. This last year the
team took a blow when Oleg Loboda left the ministry in a tragic decision
that also affected his young family. After that blow to our ministry we had
little means of outreach to orphans in state run institutions...until now.

For a time we had no team working, but after a recent visit to the Street
Kid Shelter where I got an invitation to return, It was God's timing. We
were happy to bring on board my old friend Kiril and his bride to be Valya,
who has helped us before.  Mother and I visited the ministry to see how
they were doing. The kids loved the visit. Valya is good at holding the
children's attention and Kiril is a very talented guitarist who knows the
songs Oleg wrote for children and actually plays them even better than
Oleg did. God is good.
WEDDING ON THE WAY
Kiril and Valya will likely be a
team for life. They are both
committed to God, to children
and now to each other. They
announced their engagement
just three weeks ago.
that everyone who wants to work with us is not God's choice for it. These realizations were fresh in my mind
when in walked a panting, perspiring and very tired cerebral palsy victim with crutches! She looked like a
basket case if there ever was one. Olga brought her to me suggesting we help her! I thought. "Oh my are we
ever asking for it with this one. She just looked hopeless. Olga persisted and eventually I went to her flat to
see about her, "awful living conditions." Her place was definitely cave-like. Tatters of old wallpaper
competed with brown streaks on the walls and what furniture there was should have been tossed out years
ago. Tatiana Yakibchuk needed money for food, training in her profession of invalid sports, a complete
apartment fix up ...and lots more. We went to work with the help of NIICCA to see what we could do.  Was
she beyond hope? Well....here she is. You tell me.
                                           Tatiana is a Para-Olympic Athlete.
She has won lots of medals now.
The one hanging on the red
ribbon is her latest...Gold from Peking!
There she set a new Para-Olympic
record for a discus throw of
    17.05 meters, beating the previous
World Record by a full meter!
    Tatiana proclaims her faith, has
    consistently refused performance
    enhancement drugs and we
are proud of her. She is one far-from-
    hopeless abandoned child who has
against all odds grown up to be somebody.
