Ukraine Government proclaimed 2008 'THE YEAR OF ADOPTION!' Ukrainians are being encouraged to begin to adopt but international country - by - country quotas on the number of children that may be adopted from Ukraine have been drastically reduced. Babies are the hardest hit. Us quota for toddlers 2008 is said to be just 32 children! We never base strategy totally on current pronouncements though. A popular saying here is, "If you don't like the weather or the laws wait 5 minutes!" ~ Pray about it please. |
